Accent CMS 0.28.1 — identity for existing pages, and model key warnings
Accent CMS 0.28.1 is available. It is a bug-fix release for the 0.28 line. A licence with a 0.28 ceiling covers it.
Add identity to pages that exist
Accent 0.28 gave each page a stable identity: a uid and an alias. Each
creation path mints them for a new page. But a site with existing pages
could not adopt uid: { required: true } without hand-written UUIDs.
We added a command that closes this gap:
accent content stamp-identity --model note --alias-from-filename --dry-run
The command mints a uid for every page of the model that lacks one.
With --alias-from-filename, it also writes the alias that each file
name carries. With --dry-run, it prints the plan and writes nothing.
The command never overwrites an identity that a page already has.
Misspelled model keys are reported
A document model with a misspelled key, for example allowd instead of
allowed, loaded without a message. The key did nothing, and nothing
told you. Now accent validate warns with the key and its place, and
serve, build, model list, and new print the same list. The model
still loads and still governs, and a build never fails on this warning.
Note: accent validate exits non-zero on a warning. If your models
carry an unknown key, validate turns red after the upgrade until you
fix the key.
An unknown key in a model’s uid: or alias: declaration is an error,
not a warning. It stops the model load with a message that names the
key. Before this release, a uid: block that held the alias: keys
loaded silently and declared no alias.
Fixes
We also fixed two accent query commands:
accent query list --fields url, titlenow prints the selected fields of each page. The filter ran on the pagination envelope and printed{}.accent query searchno longer panics. This affected the default and thedocfindbackends.
